The National Development Company (NDC) is an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), managing  about P 4.5 billion worth of investment portfolios.

NDC was created to function as the government’s investment arm.  It develops,  finances and implements pioneering development-oriented projects vital to the sustainability of the   government’s structural reforms and economic policies.

Since 1919, NDC had a hand in the establishment and privatization   of the vital companies that are today among the biggest and oldest companies in the country.
