National Development Company Welcomes Robert James M. Samson as General Manager

Makati City, Philippines, August 18, 2026 – The National Development Company (NDC) welcomes Mr. Robert James M. Samson as its new General Manager following his formal oath-taking before the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cristina A. Roque on August 18, 2026.

Mr. Samson brings more than a decade of international experience in business development and investment management. His career has involved working with major international companies, institutions, creators, innovators, and investors across various fields.

As General Manager, Mr. Samson aims to harness NDC’s assets; strengthen and diversifying NDC’s investment portfolio. He also seeks to mobilize strategic partnerships and position the company at the foreground of emerging investment opportunities, while creating long-term value on industries that are vital to the country’s economic growth.

Mr. Samson completed his secondary education at La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) and earned his degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
