Robert James M. Samson

Mr. Robert James M. Samson is the General Manager of the National Development Company (NDC), the Philippine government’s investment arm. Mr. Samson brings more than 15 years of international experience in business development and strategic investments, with a career focused on transforming promising ideas and world-class intellectual property into viable commercial ventures. He has worked alongside globally recognized companies, creators, innovators, and investors across a broad range of industries. As General Manager, Mr. Samson is focused on unlocking the value of NDC’s assets, strengthening and diversifying its investment portfolio, and attracting domestic and foreign capital into both established industries and emerging opportunities. His approach emphasizes disciplined investment, strategic partnerships, and sustainable value creation in support of the country’s long-term economic development. Mr. Samson completed his secondary education at La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
