𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: NDC Unites for Change, Mobilizes Activities in Support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

NDC has officially kicked off its activities in support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, marking the start of a series of initiatives aimed at raising awareness and promoting a safer, more inclusive environment for all.

The opening activities featured the launch of the NDC GAD Corner, showcasing IEC materials that provide essential information on gender and development. This will serve as a resource hub to help deepen understanding and encourage continuous learning among employees.

As part of the kickoff, NDC’s male employees also participated in the Men’s Pledge to End Violence Against Women, committing to uphold respect and equality, and standing against gender-based violence in the workplace and the community.

To further enhance awareness of legal protections for women and children, the Legal Department led a Brown Bag Session on Republic Act 9262, offering valuable insights into the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.

With these initial activities underway, NDC reaffirms its commitment to advancing gender and development efforts and fostering safe and supportive spaces for everyone.
